How did a woman from Padua and a man from Rome (or better, Pontinia) meet in Vicenza?

It all started with a chat on Facebook… Alas, yes, an unromantic beginning, but the best came soon!

They met for the first time in Padua for an aperitif in Piazza dei Signori. They almost didn’t manage to organize the date because Luca wrote her that he was stuck with his back (it seemed to be the classical excuse for not seeing each other, yes). But finally, with some painkillers in his body, the date that changed their lives took place! It was love at first sight, they immediately got along and the aperitif turned into a dinner and they stayed talking until late.

From there the courtship began with out-of-town trips and eventually a bouquet of red roses arrived at Elena parents’ house (who still didn’t know that I was dating Luca).

Not long after, they decided to live together in Vicenza, in Luca’s small apartment, their first “nest”. That nest grew in May 2023 with the purchase of a new home in Creazzo, a change that transformed their lives (especially for Luca, who suddenly had no idea where to put all of Elena’s shoes and clothes!).

You all know how the story continued: on January 20th 2024, while Elena was still sleeping, she was woken up by Luca who had brought her breakfast in bed… he made her open the bag of croissants and inside that she found a small box covered with red paper… and without realizing what was happening she found him kneeling in front of her. Well, an unforgettable moment!! I guess you can imagine the answer… YES!!
